Diplomacy is about to feature the first "web quest" - a series of interconnected stories with a common ending.

Our first one is on Qalia, and presents a plot to murder the Sultan - or worse. Each strand of the web originates in one of the four starting cities, and connects up with one another as their stories intertwine. Choices are presented - moral and otherwise - as you close in on the villain in the end.

Each of these quest lines gives you access to one of four full suits of tier 1 Diplomacy clothing.

After you complete one strand of the web, we invite you to start in another of the starting cities and unravel the story from another angle - here's a chance to go down the paths you chose not to travel, and to collect another full suit of tier 1 clothing.

After you have explored all four paths, a special quest is offered to combine the four suits into one rare suit containing all four Presences. The total Presence available with this voltron-suit is 88 in Noble, Clergy, Crafter, and Outsider. Other rewards pop up at the end, but we'll leave that to your sense of exploration.

For the player who wants to invest themselves in Diplomacy, but doesn't want to invest time in collecting Diplomacy information for suits or buy it from the Exchange, these quests are for you!

If you're looking to learn about some of the power struggles raging under the polite veneer of the people of Ahgram, these quests are also for you.

We're in final testing of these now, anticipating them in the next patch or one after. The Thestran version, featuring a cast of dozens, is coming up fast as well.
